President, Steve Olson, is a career banker with 25 years in
commercial banking and aircraft lending. Steve, a private pilot
since 1984, recently helped start a new community bank on Chicago’s
far north-side. Prior to starting Community First Bank –
Chicago, he was the Executive Vice President with a medium-sized
Midwest Bank that owned one of the nation’s largest aircraft
financing operations. He was instrumental in the acquisition
and growth of this division. As a result of his “hands-on”
leadership and direction, this division processed over $200
million in aircraft loans, in less than 5 years. This growth
far surpassed the parent bank’s expectations and lending
capacity. To ensure the continued growth of this division, alternate
sources for financing were developed through a network of 15
to 20 additional financial institutions. It is through our parent,
Community First Bank – Chicago, and many of these relationships,
as well as other newly established funding partners, that AeroBank.net

In electing to leave his prior Bank after
it was acquired by another local institution, Steve started
AeroBank.net. Once Community First Bank – Chicago opened
for business in November, 2005, AeroBank.net was transferred
